In Focus
The first challenging part of this creative exploration has been maintaining consistency. The second has been clearing space from other commitments to stay the course and have conviction — to do only the things that make my heart happy creatively and to follow them through to their natural evolution.
I have been led and trained to believe that business logic holds truth, but I sense that there is something magical beneath my own surface that I will never fully see or understand until I begin to unlock joyful creative actions with intention. It has not been easy turning away from other opportunities that would be financially lucrative.
Yet, I know there is a way to bring together joyful creative actions with financial wealth. Today is the big day that I intend to finish sewing the Gilded Haze dress. Tomorrow, I haven’t yet decided which dress I will work on next. After this exhibition, I will begin writing the script for my film.
