Floral Fun
Saturday became a self-care and sewing day! I rose early, took my car to the wash, cut my hair, bought flowers, wine, and fresh ingredients to make a nice dinner for two. When I began to sew, I was really thrown off because I had forgotten my system. The dress wasn't fitting right, and I didn’t have my trusty wrist cushion.
I began cutting away lace pieces and shifting the dress around until there was a knock on the door, and guess what arrived? My black and gold pin cushion all the way from England. In time, I found my familiar footing, and it began to make sense how to create the dress. I started securing panels of lace in a more permanent place with invisible thread.
I set the alarm to ring so I wouldn't sew all night. Instead, I went for a lovely, long walk in the forest with my dog. When I returned, I finished folding the laundry and began cooking. I’m going to have a healthier relationship with my dreams, where it is a beautiful and happy creative process. What can you do today to infuse your dreams with wellness?

Not sure which I might work on next, but this time I am not going to work on a few dresses at a time. I am going to finish one before moving on to the next.
